He was something of a quasi-socialist. Also, he wrote “Age of Reason” where he talked about how religion, theism, the Bible and Christianity were full of shit.

the issue of term limits is good. but he clearly doesn’t understand the complexity of the modern economy and how that bailout acctually saved us from a fate worse than recession. and what’s this about compulsory service? that’s govt. becoming involved in our social lives, doesn’t sound like freedom to me
I think for what this guy was saying, Jefferson or Madison may have been a more appropriate character, though I agree with what he has to say.
