What kind of hearing aids in best for poor hearing?
I am almost 95 years old. Back in 1983, I was in a car accident and lost most of my hearing. I can only hear 4% in one ear and 15% in the other. I have been through many hearing aids and none have really helped me. I live with my daughter and she says that I am just dreaming and nothing will restore my hearing. I really wish I would find a good brand? Is it possible that maybe a good brand does exist?
What is the best home telephone for people with hearing disabilities?
My aunt is very hard of hearing even with her hearing aids. When I call her she can not hear me. So I need a phone for her that has caller ID and where she can hear me.
where can I get assistance getting hearing aids?
I’m currently attending school full-time and working a full-time job at Walt Disney World for 7 dollars an hour. Between the tuition for school, and my other bills, and rent, I am having trouble saving enough money for new hearing aids I’m starting to need. Since hearing aids are not covered by insurance and the prices of them are sky-high, I’m afraid I will not have enough money saved to buy new hearing aids by the time I need them. I hate to ask for charity but I’m starting to be backed into a corner. Any suggestion about what I could do?
How do I improve my severe/profound sensorineural hearing loss naturally without hearing aids?
Has anyone been able to improve their sensorineural hearing loss naturally? I want to hear better without(and with) hearing aids, especially in the high frequencies. What kinds of herbs or medicines can do this? Also what kind of hearing exercises should I do?
